I am in a rut....

Well Obviously I wasn't "back" lol since its now December and I haven't posted since September.

So I feel like I need some sort of "photo challenge". I have been working on my Christmas photo gifts and it got me thinking about preserving memories and photos of friends and family no matter what. Too often I think we naturally go with the thought that there will always be time for more, so we don't stop to take that moment to be sure we have it. I tried to take more pics of adults this year since I realize I always have the kids, and I still don't feel like I got enough of everyone. So I think I need to give myself some sort of challenge...but what do I want to do? I was thinking of some how challenging myself to take a photo of everyone I meet. I am not talking people on the street but if I go to a party-got to get a pic no matter who they are! But then I don't need an album full of strangers either although most parties I go to I DO know the people LOL.

I still need to focus on adults. But I do need to get myself in the pics more too. One thing I DO know I have to do is get the photos I have already taken into albums!!

ITs Fall TV season 2009!!

And I'm back!!

Well, at least I am hoping to be back. With all the new TV starting over the next few weeks I am feeling motivated to get my TV Talk on.Its a great excuse to blog and a great excuse to talk about my opinions of things on TV.

Up first...the new season of 90210
(First, let me say that I do hope they make amends with their attempt to break up David and Donna last season. Even just the implication of such a thing is just WRONG and I want clear indication that all is well in their lives at some point this season!!)

Now, up first I must comment on the new theme song/opening. I actually viewed it online earlier today and it is definitely a much better and fresh, fitting opening for this show. Its catching but still fits with the old school charm that the original show had. It seems like they are trying more of the structure of filming that the original had.

I am only about 10 minutes in but I have some serious questions.....
1-Why did the main family move? Their new diggs seem to "fit" better and it looks like we won't be seeing grandma now that she "has a show in Vegas" and I think that is a wise choice because she didn't add a thing to the show. A better explaination better be coming...
2-Annie is still a brat. She was a brat last season and she is a like a bad brenda in her dark years wanna be.
3-What the heck happened to the Beverly Beach club?? I know things would have been updated but a pool and no beach scene? really??
4-The recycling of the Valerie and the married man at the beach club story with Naomi (a teenager) is just stupid. It better have a point and go some where good.
5-I like the idea of Naomi, Silver and Adrianna as tight girlfriends, it just seems a little out of place with Silver but I guess she had to fit in somewhere. If you didn't watch last season it won't seem as weird nad I know they made amends but it still seemed a bit odd at first, especially since Silver WAS friends with Annie.
6-Annie is gonna crack and its either going to be really good TV or its going to be a great, easy way to get rid of dead weight on a show that doesn't need it.
7-as the show progresses I am happy to now see the beach at the beach club:) I guess the pool was just an addition (and gives another place to show off people in their bathing suits.)
8-New guy Teddy, going to be interesting although for me it will be a hard sell since I saw him on Days of Our Lives last summer and he was just an awful actor and character. Hopefully this will be a step up for him!
9-I really like Dixon and Silver...hopefully they will have some sort of "donna and david-esque" long term relationship.
10-Well it looks like we are rid of Ethan too. Good call. I vaguely remember hearing they dropped him at the end of last season. He offered nothing as a character and the actor was just ok in my opinion. He wasn't given a lot to work with so it just never seemed to "fit". Enjoy Montana!

It looks like it has potential to be a good season. Since they are not force-feeding back story and they lightened the load of who we should care about a little I am more interested in watching than last season, and I didn't get to see one original cast member. I still think some ties to the old will be good but we will see if these group of kids can reel me in like the original series.

Ah....90210!!! Comfort TV!!

Ok....so is anyone reading this? I am SO behind!!

So this past weekend was a lot of fun!!

A few months ago a friend of mine from elementary school and I thought it would be a great idea to try and get a few other girls who we used to hang out with together for a lunch and catch up. Most of us went to high school together too but didn't really talk/see each other as much then (We went from a school where there were 23 of us graduating in 9th grade to a school where there was 200 in our whole class so having a class with people you knew already was rare). Anyway, our central "theme" to bring everyone together was our having gone to elementary/Jr High together.

Shortly after we planned this, one of the girls passed away from a brain tumor. This just re-enforced our desire to have a lunch and catch up. So much so that my best friend who lives in FL actually bought a ticket to come up for the day and join us (this made me VERY happy!).

This past Saturday we finally had our planned lunch! It ended up only being 4 of us this time because a few things came up for some of the others. One of the guys we went to school with, also stopped by after we had eaten lunch so it was really a great day for memories!

We started out meeting at the school and taking a few photos. One girl missed this because she thought we weren't meeting until 2pm but we were meeting at 1pm and by 1:40pm waiting in the hot sun we had given up and were going to the lunch place because we were melting!! Here are some pics:

in front of our school

The three of us being silly in front of the school

lunch @ the Manor

at the Manor

It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to trying to plan another and wrangling up a bunch of others (boys and girls LOL). I am really glad we did it and I look forward to the next time.

While we were at lunch, one friend also gave us all rubber bracelets for the brain cancer association. She had made a donation in memory of our friend who died recently and gave us each one of those bracelets for support. It was a really sweet moment and definitely sad at the same time.

All in all the lunch was a blast. It was bitter sweet because while I was thrilled to see everyone, and I was so thankful for the time my best friend and I had to hang out together, both during lunch and before when it was just us, I just wish there was more and its always sad to say good bye at the end. But hopefully it won't be as long before our next meet up in person!!

After I dropped my friend off to meet her dad, I went over to see my grandfather. He seems to be doing pretty good. He decided to start using a cane when walking around and it seems to help him a bit just giving that little extra support. And its handy for getting his hat out of the closest LOL. He also told me he has used the handicapped placard I got for his car a few times because I "was right and there is a bit of an incline at the grocery store" that tires him out and if there is a spot open, now he can use it. It was cute because he was telling me about how he is careful to remember to put it up and then when its time to leave take it down (technically it is illegal to drive with the handicap placard hanging from your mirror. Everyone does it but you aren't supposed to and I didn't want him to get pulled over some random day for something like that!)
We went to dinner and then I came home.

And THAT was my awesome Saturday.

Next weekend is the American Idol Tour Concert in Atlantic City with my good friend Kim. I can not wait AND I have an extra special treat to share regarding the concert...who wants to know what it is???

ta ta for now!

American Idol Top 7 (Again!) Disco week

Ok here are my thoughts...

Lil-BLAH BLAH BLAH she is so over, she can't sing and dance, she can't pull off the wig and she looks stupid on stage and she realy isn't that good-not original at all and hasn't been all season. Go Home!!!!

Kris-definately showed ability to be original.Definately shows he belongs in the competion still. I am impressed. Good performance. Simon did say it best by saying that his performance was a polar opposite of lil.

(I just have to get my I hate kara in-she looks ridiculus when she talks!!)

Danny-Shocking song choice-not! Nothing impresses me by him anymore. I am over him. He is better than lil and I don't think he will go home yet but I just can't get into him as I did early on. He just sings like a shouting church singer week after week. He is good at what he can do but he can't do anything different.

(and Kara can take that finger she points and shove it...)

Alison-I like that she always does try to change it up even if its not the best choice for a particular song. She is way better than Lil. And I think she has tried to stay true to her own interests which I respect....and she is 16!! I think Paula actually said it well.

Adam-He should win. I like how he does put a spin onto whatever he sings and even if its not conventional he makes a change and does it well. He can pull it off and I really like him. He is original and a great singer!!! Wahoo!!

Matt-don't think it was the best song choice for him...he simply performed it disco and I didn't think he really did anything new to it. He could go-and I have liked him and his type of music but this was not it and let's just hope Anoop is worse.

Anoop-not impressed. For a guy who did Bobby brown earlier b/c he liked to have fun I am surprised he didn't pick a more fun song. He showed he knows how to sing a bit but it was really boring.

My hope...bye-bye Anoop and LIL!!!
(Unless we can get rid of Kara....I am still all for that!)

American Idol Top 9....live blog

Well I am not even sure if anyone reads this but its that time again!!!

*Kara is a waste of space on the show*

Anoop- I really liked Anoop early on but he just didn't do it for me at all tonight.

Megan-OMG...I think I have an earache from listening to her. She is just AWFUL and does the same AWFUL thing week after week after week. She sounds like someone is pounding on her chest while she sings-she was HORRIBLE!!!!! I REALLY hope she is gone soon!!!!

Danny-I don't know if they just didn't have enough guidance this week in picking song choices or what but even Danny I feel was not out of the park. He was good-he is always good but I just didn't feel anything extra. He is DEFIANETLY better than the other two....the first two were a waste of space.

Allison-I really like her. I think she stays true to herself but also performs really well. I thought she was going to play a little more of the guitar than she did.

Scott-I love Billy Joel so I had high hopes. Scott does ok but he seems to do the same type of song performance week after week and that could easily become old. I don't know if its memorable enough....I enjoy it but I am only one person. Iwas glad Simon liked it and hopefully that will help keep him around this week-he is definatly one of the better ones so far tonight!

Matt-Did ok. I don't think he was the best and I don't think he was the worst. He was very middle of the road with this week's song choice. I don't know that he "made it his own" but sang ok just the same. He was almost forgettable and after being in the bottom 3 last week I am a little worried because for some reason people like Megan (darn vote for the worst!!!) I do think if he had done something like "Apoligize" he could have blown it away-but he didn't.

Lil-She can sing. No doubt about it. But I find her boring and more and more I see her the less and less I like her. No question she has talent-and I am sure she will do well post-Idol but she is not one I care about anymore.

Adam-I surprisingly enjoyed it. He kept the elvis hair and no make up face which I thought was funny and he is a little funny when he dances but he is good. He is entertaining and he is a good singer. Comfortable on stage and it was much better than expected and he looked like he had fun. I was happy with it.

Kris-One of my fave songs so I was nervouse but I think he did it well and I liked what he did with it. So far this season Kris has been forgetable to me but tonight's performance was more memorable to me and I am feeling a little bit more love for him that I did last week.

Overall not a bad night...not the most interesting or exciting evening we have seen.

I am gonna give some love to Danny, Scott, Matt, Adam, and Kris this evening. Now everyone go vote!!!

And for the record...I still hate Kara and hope she is not back next year!
OK, WTH is with the outfit critics....seriously, Randy, is this a fashion show or a singing show? I get giving some constructive criticism on outfits but making the outfit the focus of your comments...come on! At least Simon had a reason for why the outfit bothered him!

American Idol Top 10....live blog

Well you all know what time it is....American Idol blog time!! You KNOW you want to read my hate on Kara!

But before I get into my live blogging let me just say I am happy we are at the Top 10. This is who we will see on tour this summer. And while I would have prefered Alexis to be on the tour instead of Megan (She is not quite my "carly" yet but she is definately when I will be checking my text messages) but over all I am happy with who we will get to see in concert. I look forward to the American Idol Concert in Atlantic City because its the one time a year I get together with one of my best friends from college for a girl's night out - just us! We hit Atlantic City-have a nice meal, and head into the concert, sometimes seeing the idols...sometimes not! I just hope they release the dates soon so we can get our tickets!! Plus...once we know when it is I can start my secret plan!!!

Ok down to business....

Matt-Nice job. Nice touch getting up from the piano. Good song choice and I was happy with it. He is one I really enjoy and I hope he will be around for a while.

Kris-He is ok. Not bad at all but he just hasn't pulled me in quite yet. I don't mind listening to him but I don't look forward to it either.

*I just thought I would interject here....can we vote off Kara?? I don't even listen to her so when she talks I have to write about how much I hate her so I don't have to listen. SEND KARA AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

Scott-I like Scott. Everyone knows this but I have to say that who ever is his stylist has to help him a little...pink pants? That is just mean. Maybe they are trying to dress "Motown"?? Anyway...I really enjoyed his performance. I am glad he took something a little more upbeat to show he doesn't do just the same song every week. I was surprised Simon didn't like it. I thought he did better than they are acting like he did. I thought it was a good job to do the upbeat.

LOL Paula just gave Simon crayons and coloring books!!!

Megan-Blah Who is dressing these people??? and I really don't like her or her voice-its not good. And she is still wearing those awful eye lashes that keep her from opening her eyes. Randy said it---TRAINWRECK!!!! PLEASE go home!

Anoop-I like Anoop but that was nothing spectacular and it could hurt him. I would like to keep him around for a little longer but we will see...

Michael-Another one I don't mind watching and I am glad he is on the tour but I don't think he will be around much longer. He is ok but not sure people will buy into it. But people DO like him.

Lil-she is not a bad singer but just something about her that makes me go "blah blah blah blah blah" when she talks....she is to full of herself and has some serious ego issues.Didn't do anything for me though...

Adam-he looks funny. They had to tell them to dress Motown or something. But his singing is good and I enjoy him. Good interpretation of the song in bringing it. He showed he could do different...and made the song his own.

Danny-I do enjoy a good upbeat song....did very nice job. I liked the performance and the song and can listen to him so far anytime.

Allison-I thoguht she did a good job. She doesn't at all sounds like a kid. I worry a little about her because she did forget some words but the judges love her so we will see.

All in all a good show-Motown was more entertaining than I expected so that was good. Let's see where it goes tonight....

American Idol Top 11 week!!! Country Music Week

Ok time for me to talk about Idol!!

First up....why do they make people sing country songs??? It is such a specific type of music. Its like asking them all to sing Rap!!!

And I just HAVE to ask if anyone else noticed the Top 11 American Idol commercial this week where Simon, Paula, Randy and Ryan all had significant lines and focus but nothing for KARA!!! All they did was show her on the panel....hahahahahaha...I think they really do KNOW how much she is hurting the show. I hope she is gone soon!!

First up....

Michael-Definately seemed in his comfort zone and I thought he did a good job. I would like to see him go to the top 10.
(Randy is ridiculus too-he is really starting to iritate me...I think he is taking his cues from Kara.)
Nice response from Michael after Simon spoke.

Allison-I enjoy her. Its hard to believe she is only 16. She has style and a good sound. And she really seems comfortable on stage which projects well when you watch her.

Kris-He has a nice voice and did a good job but he is just not anything special for me at this point. I think he can make it to top ten but if he didn't I wouldn't be heartbroken. He may grow on me more throughout the season because he is good-I just don't know how memorable he is to me just yet. But nice job.

Lil-I know she can sing but I am just not really interested in her. She reminds me of the ego Syesha had last year with this sort of entitled to be there type vibe about her. She definately has a good voice and can sing and I think she will be around for a while and no matter where it ends up she will do something. I just don't really have any love for. I don't have hate (I save that all for Kara) but I don't have any love either. And after she talked while Simon was trying too my impression of her just dropped even further because it was quite rude. I really can't listen to her talk though-I have decided that. Its not quite like listening to Fantasia which my ears just can't handle, but I would like her better if she didn't talk. Its not her voice as much as her attitude that comes out of her mouth.

Adam-I like adam but what is he thinking with this arrangement? If he had done it right I think it could have been a good chance for him to show his abilities but this looked more like a performance from a high school musical and just bad. I wanted to like it but not tonight. Hopefully this will not kill him and we will see him next week. Too much screaming for me. I agree with Simon 100%.

Scott-I like Scott. He is much more comfortable when he is on the piano. I like how the song picked up the second half ands howed more than just his slow song ability. A few rough spots but I liked him and hope he is in for another week!

Ok Paula really annoyed me. What does she want him to do... a jig and fall off the stage because she wants him to dance?? Give me a freakin break. And I am glad that Simon stepped up and said she was being stupid. There is nothing wrong with him sitting at a piano every week-he just needs to change up his song choices because they are all good but they do sound similiar so switching it up will be good but he can do it with a piano. It is a singing competition and singing behind a piano is still singing. Plus last year David Cook played every week but one with his guitar.

Alexis-She did ok but it seemed safe and boring and I didn't think it was all that memorable. I think she could be in trouble this week if people don't remember to vote for her.

Danny-He is good and still gives me chills. I really like him. He still seems a little akward on stage just walking and singing but he sings well. And I do like him.

I am really sick of the Randy-Kara show. They are both obnoxious and Kara has really ruined the judges chemistry. Paula may not be able to always articulate what she wants to say but she has given more constructive advice and less on just saying how people look pretty. Even when I think she is wrong, she at least seems to have a real thought-unlike the bobsey twins who are useless.

Anoop-I like Anoop. I think it was smart to do a different style song and show he can sing a serious song and not just the fun kick back type songs. I think he did really well. I hope to seem him around for a while. I really do enjoy watching him. I like the fun stuff he has done but I also enjoyed the slower song he performed tonight.

Simon said it well.

When Randy talks...and Kara....all I hear is "wah wah wah wah"....

Megan-Yeah not so much. And her fake eye lashes are so big she can't open her eyes. She just does not have a voice I want to listen to...ever. I hope she goes home tonight. Can't listen to her on the tour....

What show is Randy watching "I thought it would be a bit of a train wreck but it was really good"....It was a HUGE trainwreck. And shut up Kara through out the excuse its because she had the FLU-give me a freakin break.....she hasn't been good at all and being sick didn't help at all. She sucked. What is wrong with Simon even thinking it was good??

Matt-He is good and likable. He did well and defiantely is better with the piano like Scott is. I like him. I think he has a strong voice and we just need to see him in a variety of songs to really see he can do a lot and have a wide appeal. I think his voice works well with the piano and would work well without it.

OK...well I have only been watching this show since season 6 and I have to say I really think this year its a tighter competion than in the past seasons. I feel there is no "Sanjaya". I am anxious for tomorrow's show and I will need to get my fingers ready to go do some voting. I am hoping Megan is gone...fingers crossed!!

TV Talk: American Idol 2009....week 3 blog

Ok, I missed last week's live blog chance because we were not home so I am going to try again this week....interjecting my thoughts of course!

First up....

Von-not so much. I am disgusted that Randy and KB(aka Kara-use your imagination on what that stands for) praised this guy so much. He wasn't horrible like others we have seen but it was not idol worthy-it was like something I would watch in a casino or hotel. I was surprised even Simon liked him. I think they were watching something different than we were at home...

Taylor-Not really that bad but again it was nothng in spiring. It seemed old to me. For such a young girl I thought she would sing something a little more fun and memorable. She definately has chops but I just don't know that its enough to be the best.

*KB is talking and makes no sense-I swear she is worse than Paula has ever been-and I am glad Simon called her out just a little bit* I hate Kara.

Alex-singing Elton is risky. I think his personality will help him to be memorable but I am not sure he was wonderful. Seemed a little "karoke" to take from Simon. I thought he was better than the first guy but still not best singer but he was funny and memorable and entertaining.

Arianna-she has a very nice voice. the song seemed a little old and "high school musical" and kind of dreadful but she didn't really put a youthful spin on it. Song choice could be what gets her on this.

Ju'Not-I liked him best so far tonight. He has potential and made a song his own. I am hopeful for him. We would vote for him.

Kristen-Her voice was good (although I liked the purple in her hair better!)She has a good voice although there is something about her that I am not overly excited about but voice wise she did well.

Nathanial-he has style but its just not something I can get behind as the American Idol. He is not bad and I could definately see him on broadway but it just didn't do it for me tongiht.

Felicia-a little rough in spots but strong overall I felt. I worry about it being memorable. This week there is a lot of middle of the road-unlike some the other weeks that really stood out. But she was enjoyable.
(I still hate KB and when she talks....all I hear is blah blah blah)

Scott-I liked him. He has a good voice. I think he has a nitch of song types but I think he could go to the top 12....he is definately not the worst tonight and I think he was one of the better ones. Got my vote-I want to see him sing and play piano b/c that is when he is really good.

Kendall-I liked her. She had one of the few upbeat songs and I think it stood out against some of the others, especially the girls. It was entertaining. It wasn't a perfect song but it was more memorable than others I thought.

Jorge-I actually enjoyed his performance. He has a good voice. Again, doing Elton is risky but I thought he did well. Not sure how memorable he will be-there is a lot of middle ground tonight but he was good. He surprised me and I liked it.

Lil-it was good. she has a nice voice and it was shown tonight. She definately stood out from others tonight. I think we will see her again...

All in this night was not bad. There was a lot of decent but not great so its going to be interesting to see how tomorrow night goes. I am still pulling for Scott myself but we will see how it goes!!

But have I mentioned how much I still hate Kara? While she was not as bad tonight as past weeks (maybe someone clued her in to the fact she is annoying!) but I still think it was a poor show choice to add her as a judge....how can we get rid of her??

TV Talk: American Idol 2009....I'm back!!

Ok so I may have been gone for a while but I am back...and so is American Idol!!!

My attempt at a Live blog this evening will begin....

Ok, let me start off by saying I skipped over all the auditions and hollywood week for my blog but I did watch. Overall I was actually kind of disgusted with some of the final choices they made for the Top 36 for this season. It really seemed that they didn't go with quality as they have in the past and I wonder if that is because of this new way they are doing things that I am not even really sure I understand just yet anyway. I will say I think a big part of their problem is the addition of Kara the 4th judge. I hate her. I really tried to give her a chance but I think she screwed it up this year. She was so focused on people's "schtick" to get them through that I think her influence on Paula and Randy to spice it up is what put people through that didn't deserve and dropped people who could actually sing. In the past Simon was the voice of reason and the other two didn't fight it as much but I think he got out voted because from watching them tell the contestants I think he agreed with me on the ones that should not have gone through to the show.

Now, I am still not exactly how this whole Top 36 thing is suppossed to work but we will figure that out together.

First up...JackieTohn-Let me just say this...Ew! I said during Hollywood week that I think this girl could be my this year's "carly"-I didnt like her at Hollywood and I REALLY didn't like her tonight. And let's not even TALK about her outfit. I agreed with Simon 100% tonight-blah blah blah send her home please.

Next up is Ricky Braddy-Nice voice. Not really very memorable and that could hurt him but I did like his singing. I think Simon nailed it when he said he was a good singer but didn't show much personality b/c he seemed like a shy guy and that could make him easily overlooked.

And PLEASE someone tell Kara she does NOT have to put her mouth right up on the mic when she gives her feedback?? UGH....it is gonna be a long season with her on the panel-I just know it!!

*Sidebar*: What is with the parents talking after each performance?I don't care about the families right now....I will care later when I know who is really gonna stick around (I know it sounds heartless but at this stage I want to see the performances not the families-let their singing tell the story not outside influences) and WOW on putting ALL the performances on itunes-Cha-ching! Smart hooking up with itunes!!

#3-Alexis Grace-Enjoyed her performance. Nothing overly standing out to me but she did well I thought and it was a good song choice. She has evolved from the audition and I didn't love her but didn't hate her. I think she has definate potential so I will keep watching her...

#4 Brent Keith-Seems like a nice person, not bad to look at either so that doesn't hurt. His performance was ok. Not bad. Interesting song-has potential but doesn't stand out to me just yet. I think he could do country well but I want to see more of what he can do-not just a niche type song.

#5 Stevie Wright-This is the girl Ben liked at Hollywood. I think she had a rough have stuart-vocals started out a little rough but got better as she got more comfortable with her performance. She is only 17 so I imagine its a little intimidating on that stage:) She needs to breathe a little in the singing but she has potential. Good type of song choice in that shows she probably wants to be that young pop star type. Not sure if her performance will be memorable enough to carry her through though...

#6 Anoop Desai-Well he is the first one to give me chills so that says something. I liked this guy at the auditions and I didn't think I would but there is just something about him. He has a good voice and has shown he can do different types of music. He seems to really have fun and have heart and I like that he picks the songs because he liked it.I will give him a vote. I hope he is around a bit.

#7 Casey Carlson-Ok...she makes some funny faces when she sings and I could see her doing stage performances and stuff but I don't know if she has a strong enough voice to pull it out in this group. She is not horrid but not really the best song I think. I think she could do better but I think it wasn't her best and the song choice was what really hurt her.

*Ok-I REALLY hate Kara the judge. I think she was unneccesarily mean when she talked to the last girl. Simon can be mean but his criticism still comes off aa serious criticism not snarky mean stuff. I REALLY don't like her. Can you tell??

#8 Michael Sarver-I really liked this guy during the audtions and Hollywood week. He kind of reminds me of my cousin lol.His performance was not bad. I think he was a little nervous on the "performance" part. Its hard to be up in front of people and know what to do with yourself while you sing but I thought his vocals were not bad and as far as the guys in this group go he is in my top two with Anoop being the other. And he just has a quailty about him that makes him memorable and likable. I have hopes for him. And he isn't bad looking either so at least its not a bad face to keep around lol

#9 Ann Marie Boskovich-Not bad song choice if you ask me. I think she did a pretty good job and will be memorable. Definately one of the better women from this evening so far. Her and Alexis would be my top 2 females for the night. She has a good voice and definately has potential to do well.
(Even Randy is kind of an a** tonight. Him and Kara are like the downers-even Simon has not been as negative in a wishy washy fishy sort of way. And I REALLY hate Kara and the way she doesn't purses her lips when she talks) I thought the judges on a whole were a bit overly critical based on her performance-especially considering these are the same judges who put through that Norman guy!!!

#10 Stephen Fowler - Not bad.Not overly exciting but not as horrible as the judges make it sound. Don't know that he will be memorable enough to get enough votes.

#11 Tatiana Del Toro - (ok someone has got to talk to her about that pink lipstick!)Hated her in auditions. Hated her in Hollywood...and who the heck does she think she is to sing a Whitney Houston song???? I will say she is not bad and her voice is definately not the worst that was up there tonight by any means. I still not a fan but I do feel her singing showed her ability a lot better than in the past that we have seen her. And WTH Kara doesn't criticize her for singing Whitney but she gave the other girl a hard time about singing the Police?? Oh I really hate hate hate Kara. She is so arrogant. I agree with Simon it was better than I expected (but I think someone slipped her a valum tonight). She was not the worst but not my fave either.

#12 Danny Gokey - Liked this guy since the audtions. I Was disappointed his buddy didn't make it because I thought he was better than some of the others they let through (Norman!!!) but I was really glad that Danny made it through so we can see his chops. Danny rocked it if you ask me. Simon doesn't look as impressed but he never does lol. I sort of agree with him though that he is really good but I can see where he doesn't buy into the hype although someone PLEASE tell Kara to stop screaming into the mic!!!! Danny has my vote.

Ok-so there is my first reaction to this seasons 1st real show...let's see where it goes!!!
